Valerie O'Riordan is mostly to be found scavenging chocolate from vending machines. Here's a brief and messy biography [click].

Pester me at valerie.oriordan at gmail.com; follow me on Twitter. Go on.

I placed first at the 2010 Bristol Short Story Prize - do check out the anthology. I was also shortlisted in the flash fiction category in the 2010 Bridport Prize. I've got fiction in various off- and on-line places - most recently in Flash365, Quickies, Storyglossia, Exposure, the National Short Story Week website, the Chamber Four Anthology and Bugged. There'a a sneak preview of my novel-in-progress up at Beat The Dust. Click here for links to all my online work.

I'm a reviewer at Bookmunch, which combines two of my passions - reading and free things. Click here to see an up-to-date list of my reviews.
